The board works to administer and enforce licensing locksmiths to protect public health, safety and welfare. The board issues, renews, denies, suspends or revokes licenses and conducts any disciplinary actions authorized by GS Chapter 74F-1; set fees, establishes continuing education requirements, investigates complaints, and conducts administrative hearings; maintains a list of the names and addresses of all persons licensed; and adopts and publishes a code of ethics and annual report of all board action. |
