Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Mgmt Act |
The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council shall consist of the States of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and shall have authority over the fisheries in the Atlantic Ocean seaward of such States. The South Atlantic Council shall have 13 voting members, including 8 appointed by the Secretary of the US Department of Commerce in accordance with subsection (b)(2) (at least one of whom shall be appointed from each such State). |
