| Purpose | The council advises the Department of Agriculture on all matters concerning the protection, management and preservation of state-owned, privately-owned and municipally-owned forests. The council oversees the continuous monitoring and planning process, provides a forum for the identification, discussion and development of recommendations, undertakes studies and makes reports as directed. |
